Who Are the Warriors of God

Learn about the challenges faced by King Sigismund and his army while besieging the city. Why couldn’t he conquer Tábor and was forced to retreat to Hungary? Was Jan Žižka of Trocnov a brave leader or a mere criminal defending his claims by force?

Tábor is home to numerous historical landmarks, such as the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, Kotnov Castle, and the Hussite Museum. It is also a significant center of Czech Protestantism, hosting many cultural events and festivals each year, attracting thousands of visitors from around the world.

Tábor offers more than just history and Jan Žižka. For those with a sweet tooth, there’s the Chocolate and Marzipan Museum. Those with a playful spirit will love the LEGO Museum.
