Český Krumlov used to be the home of robbers
Our story takes place at a time when the shadows of the Middle Ages covered the land and mysterious forests spread out where Český Krumlov stands today. There was no town, no castle, only wild nature and the Vltava River, which wound through the valley like a silver ribbon. The trade route that connected Austria with the Bohemian hinterland passed through this landscape, and it was here, on the rock above the ford, that the robbers made their home.
These robbers were lords of the forest, raiding travellers and merchants’ wagons, taking whatever they could get their hands on. But as the saying goes, all happiness comes to an end, and so the days of these robbers were numbered. The brave knight Vitek, a man of courage and honesty, discovered their hideout and decided to end their reign of terror.
With the flames of justice, Knight Vitek burned the robber’s mansion to the ground. On its ruins then rose the castle, an impregnable fortress that was to protect the ford across the Vltava forever. And so, where once stood the robber’s hideout, now stands Krumlov Castle, a symbol of justice and protection.
A story that took place in ancient times, but may not be over yet! The robbers, those lords of the dark woods who were defeated by the knight Vitek, may have left something more than rumours and fear. It is believed that the robbers, in their moment of greatest need, hid their treasure. A treasure that could be hidden anywhere, waiting for whoever shows enough courage and wit to unravel the clues and mysteries the robbers left behind.

The course of the programme
A friendly guide will introduce you to the teambuilding game, explain the rules and the functioning of our mobile app in detail and the treasure hunt in Český Krumlov can begin. After the kick-off, all teams will set off together, but in different directions, on an adventurous journey through the town.
Each team will determine its own strategy, route and pace of the game. You’ll tackle a variety of challenges, there are eight types of challenges in total and dozens of them await you in each game. Will you choose the easier, more challenging tasks first, or will you tackle the most challenging puzzles?
After the game time is up, we will all meet again at the agreed location and evaluate the treasure hunt. The team that finds the most hidden treasures and best completes the tasks will win. Who will be the winner of the Treasure Hunt Český Krumlov?
