Pravčická Gate: the ancient portal of the Vikings and Slavs
In ancient times, when northern Europe was shaped by clashes between different tribes and cultures, an unexpected conflict occurred between Vikings and Slavic tribes. The Vikings, famous for their voyages and conquests, sailed up the Elbe River to Bohemian Switzerland. Here they encountered Slavic tribes, who built fortresses on the rocks in the area, where later the castles of Falkenstein and Shaunstein were built to protect their territory and treasures from foreign invasions.
There were tensions and conflicts between the two groups, but also an exchange of knowledge and culture. The Vikings brought with them tales of Asgard and gods such as Odin and Thor, while the Slavs contributed stories of Perun and Veles.
These influences gave rise to new legends, which tell of the Vikings and Slavs discovering together the Pravčická Gate, first used for ritual sacrifices and later even opening a portal to another world.

The course of the programme
A friendly guide will introduce you to the teambuilding game, explain the rules and the functioning of our mobile app in detail and the treasure hunt in the North of the Czech Republic can begin. After the kick-off, all teams will set off together, but in different directions, on an adventurous journey through the national park.
Each team will determine its own strategy, route and pace of play. You’ll tackle a variety of challenges, there are eight types of challenges in total and dozens of them await you in each game. Will you choose the easier, more challenging tasks first, or will you take on the most challenging puzzles?
After the game time is up, we’ll all meet again at the agreed location and evaluate the treasure hunt. The team that finds the most hidden treasures and best completes the tasks will win.
Location and accommodation for this teambuilding
The game takes place in the Czech Switzerland National Park between the village of Hřensko and the village of Mezná. In this area there are quite a lot of accommodation facilities and of course restaurants in different price categories.
